Text encoded (TEI + XML)

Unlike all the above files, these XML files, encoded to conform with the TEI metadata standard, are not to be read by humans. Instead, they are to be processed by computer software in order to render files such as those listed above. They will likely only be of interest to other scholars and programmers.

  1. TEI encoding for Grundlegung 1785
  2. TEI encoding for Grundlegung 1786 (includes emendations as branching element nodes)
  3. TEI encoding for Grundlegung 1903

Supplements

These are documents that are about Kant's Groundlaying. They can be accessed here as separate entities. But they can also be accessed from within some other files as if they were component parts of those other files (the Paragraph Summaries document, for example, being accessible from within the JavaScript-enabled version of the Student translation by clicking on the Summary button).

  1. Overview of 1786v
  2. Paragraph Summaries of 1786v
  3. Student Supplement to 1786v
